You have to hand it to these guys. I gave them some flack a few times during their run on X Factor this past fall because their performances just ran together sometimes but just to be clear, they ran together like one really, really fun performance. They brought the X Factor to the X Factor while others just brought the voice or were clearly joke acts. The best part about Reggie 'N' Bollie is that everybody thought they were the joke act until they managed to do the impossible, sing in tune and have a good time up there with all that wicked production X Factor just throws you up with.
"New Girl" is the jam. Not only is the production on the song fantastic, it's a really upbeat catchy tune, but the music video is THE ABSOLUTE jam! It's basically one long X Factor performance (in the best way possible). A lot of artists come on X Factor (and other various singing shows) and do great but they don't do them. What I mean by that is a lot of performers change who they are to get further in the competition, then when it's over no one is really into them because their style is completely different than what they portrayed on the show. Reggie 'N' Bollie stuck true to themselves, creating fun performances every week and bring us a completely (happily) expected fun summer jam. (That dance break was everything)
