X Factor UK: Top 9 Live Show (GROUPS)

Cheryl is clearly the best mentor this year. I should have bit my tongue at the beginning when I started doing these reviews but she's taken Reggie N Bollie (who bring out the absolute best in her fun nature), who could have been a complete joke, and 4th Impact, who I absolutely couldn't stand at the beginning of the live shows, and turned them both into serious contendors for the X Factor crown. Okay, 4th Impact was always a contender becuase everyone loves them but I didn't. So. Yeah. Now I do.

REGGIE N BOLLIE
CHERYL IS JUST THE BEST MENTOR FOR THESE GUYS. She's so proud of them anytime they do a great performance, which has been every week so far, and I just love it! These guys haven't disappointed this season and they're so much fun. The best part is that they aren't a joke act like Stevie Ritchie was last season. They're here because they can entertain and actually have a place in the market together. They're vocals aren't bad and they're just so much fun to have around! I love their performances as well. When the guys started with Titanic, I thought it was a bold choice but I was crying tears of laughter when they were like SIKE WHO YOU THINK WE IS? Cheryl in money form is hilarious, as well. These guys are just too much fun to have around it's too good to be true. When Cheryl told them not to hold back (after she was cranking to their performance) I knew we were in for a treat. The shade on Simon's face when they panflute of "My Heart Will Go On" started. The best part of the performance was that they didn't need all the back up dancers at the beginning to show how much fun they were. I could honestly see these guys cranking out dance hit after hit. Their rap was absolutely excellent, Bollie can rap his ass off! Sorry guys, this is just my chance to be a hood rat and praise a fun performance. I really hope they make it through this week because I love having these genuine feel good moments every week. And they can actually sort of sing, and they definitely have talent, which is that absolute best part to this whole thing. "What the hell is Rugrats?" "That wasn't a movie. What was it called?" "Rugrats the movie..." 7.5/10

4th IMPACT
When I heard the girls were doing a Beyonce song I absolutely groaned because they have the absolute opportunity to try and do to much with it. Which they sort of did and didn't, but we'll hit that note in a second (haha, get it because singing?). These girls are so cute. They're so sweet and the fact that one of them was ill and passed out and still managed to perform is a testament to what hard workers they are. The growl at the beginning actually fit the song this week. These girls are experts when it comes to the sass. Every performance they have given have shown off every side of them. They're fun, current and their dance moves are amazing every week. The choreography is stellarly executed by them. When we hit the dance break, that's when the performance really hit it's stride. They're harmonies were shockingly pretty good this week. The only parts that need work now are their solos because that high note gave me an ear infection. It's not cute to joke about health because of the health issues Celina had this week. She's a trooper for being here. Under the circumstances, like Simon said, that was an absolutely stellar performance. The thing about them is the bond they have together. You can see that when they perform and together after their performance you can see how much they want this and it really pays off and their bond is just beautiful to watch. The way they care about each other is so genuine and something that this competition really needs. 7.5/10
