Survivor: The Voice Edition (Top 10)
Is there any point of me even writing this? Because I'm not sure how many people they are going to cut this week, but I'm sure it's going to be an absolute slaughter that is going to be really hard to watch. The clear "front-runners" as far as the judges (and probably America too, based on iTunes) are: Jordan Smith, Amy Vachal, Zach Seabaugh (and maybe Braiden, possibly Jefferey). Unless some dark horse rides to the finish line, I don't think there is a whole lot the constants can do to switch up that front runner list. My Top 5 are Shelby, Jeffery, Madi, Amy and Jordan buuuuut we'll see if my faves get through tomorrow.

X Factor: Top 5 Rankings
Once again, big thanks to Anthony Ying! Check out his YouTube videos, he's the only reason I'm able to watch the show before it airs in the states up here!
Looks like we have a new underdog! Lauren Murray came out of nowhere and stole the night from everyone. There were some decent performances, but aside from Lauren and 4th Impact, it was a very underwhelming night.

X Factor UK: Top 7 Rankings
First off, thank you to Anthony Ying on YouTube! His videos are why I can watch the show before it comes on American TV and where I get some of my screen caps from!
The competition is pretty tight but it's clear who rose up to the occasion and who didn't.
X Factor UK: Top 7 Live Show (GROUPS & OVERS)
Cheryl, shockingly, is my favorite mentor this year. You can just see by the way she takes everything they love about themselves and she allows them to apply it to their performances so they are the most genuine performances and both her groups have such star power! Anton, once again showed enormous potential that I just wish he would tap into.

MUSIC REVIEW: Adele "25"
The queen has returned to reclaim her thrown. Not sure what's more to be said. Adele has created her own lane. Turning her heartbreak into hit after hit. One would think that now that she's actually happy she may have lost some of that magic that made her the artist she has shown us to be. That one would be wrong.

The Voice US: Top 12 Rankings
There were standouts, there were let downs but most of these performances were very middle ground so it made it a little hard to got out of the 7-7.5 range I usually grade. I wasn't impressed too hard with everything (except the top 4), but it wasn't a terrible show either. However, I don't think the show's going to cross into great territory until the group gets smaller.
The Voice US: Top 12 Live Show (TEAM PHARRELL)
Team Pharrell had a solid night. Evan was the best of their bunch, although I loved Madi's instrumental track. I think it was just a confusing night for all three of them. Mark was so extra he should be a gum, Madi looked uncomfortable to me and Evan was...well, Evan.
The Voice US: Top 12 Live Show (TEAM GWEN)
Gwen's team was a bit of a disappointment this week. The one bright spot was Braiden, mostly because I literally expected nothing out of him after last weeks abomination so I'm glad he's back in the competition strong. They weren't bad, I just expected them to be the brightest part of the entire night (even though my fave Viktor was booted, but enough about my struggles.
The Voice US: Top 12 Live Show (TEAM BLAKE)
Let's get one thing straight, I literally only wanted Zach and Barret to make it through to this show. I didn't care who else went through because Blake had two gems and four duds. Now he has two gems out of three contestants, so his team is looking much stronger now.
The Voice US: Top 12 Live Show (TEAM ADAM)
Does anyone have an extinguisher? Because Adam's teams were on fire this week. I spoke WAY too soon when I wrote him off as a mentor when I reviewed his team last week. They were fun, they were fresh and they all delivered fantastic overall performances in addition to being vocally competent. Adam's team is the team to watch, y'all.

X Factor UK: Top 9 Rankings
Everyone shockingly did pretty decently this week. It's going to be a very shocking results show because I have absolutely no idea how the vote is going to go.
X Factor UK: Top 9 Live Show (OVERS)
Maybe I expected too much from the category this week (I'm just being nice, I expected nothing from Anton) but the category was very lackluster this week, unfortunately. Hopefully things can turn around for them.
X Factor UK: Top 9 Live Show (GROUPS)
Cheryl is clearly the best mentor this year. I should have bit my tongue at the beginning when I started doing these reviews but she's taken Reggie N Bollie (who bring out the absolute best in her fun nature), who could have been a complete joke, and 4th Impact, who I absolutely couldn't stand at the beginning of the live shows, and turned them both into serious contendors for the X Factor crown. Okay, 4th Impact was always a contender becuase everyone loves them but I didn't. So. Yeah. Now I do.
X Factor UK: Top 9 Live Show (GIRLS)
Rita's girls delivered this week. It was so beautiful to see Rita crying tears of joy with Louisa. It just shows what an emotional and true connection she has with the contestants in her category this year, she's a joy (and did something right with Monica this week, who would've thunk?)
X Factor UK: Top 9 Live Show (BOYS)
I was completely shocked that Sean went home last week, I thought he did great. Maybe it hurt even more because this was my favorite group but the competition felt a little empty without him (Che gave enough in his performance for everyone who went home, though)

HOT TRACKS: Eryn Allen Kane "Piano Song"
I usually go onto the "Hot Tracks" page of iTunes when I really want to hear some good new music and a lot of stuff doesn't catch my attention. That being said, a lot of tracks do catch my attention and typically the artist deserves more recognition that they are getting. These "Hot Tracks" reviews go out to my artists that deserve more than what they're getting!

MUSIC REVIEW: Justin Bieber "Purpose"
Just my luck that 3 highly anticipated albums come out on the same day (Purpose, Midnight in the A.M. & Know-It-All). I'm starting off with Purpose, for no particular reason, Saturday I'll have Midnight in the AM and Sunday I'll review Alessia Cara's debut album! This review is chalked full of my interpretation of his lyrics/meaning. If I'm wrong, oops.
Survivor: X Factor Edition (Top 9)
I thought it'd be fun to maybe give a little insight as to what I think the contestants need to do in order to survive to the next live show.

If Loving You Is Wrong: Being a Woman (2x06)
This is debatably the best episode If Loving You Is Wrong has ever produced. I'm a broken record when it comes to how ILYIW is at it's best when it embraces it's campy soap opera genre and boy did they take my advice tonight. This episode had so many classic Tyler Perry trash-tastic moments, my hood rat heart just went up in flames.
