X Factor UK 14: Judges Houses (GIRLS)

HOLLY TANDY
“Russian Roulette”
Holly delivered a haunting, near pitch perfect performance. I probably would have given it a better grade if there was more feeling behind the words. B+

RAI-ELLE WILLIAMS
"Somebody That I Used to Know"
Where did that come from? I remember her six chair challenge being all over the place vocally. She doesn’t have a problem emotionally connecting. Actually having consistent vocals, confidence and that strong rap section in the middle made for her best performance yet. B+

ALISHA BONAOBRA
“Lay Me Down”
Girl, what?! Yes madam! Her six chair challenge was a little rough for me because I thought she was doing the most with her voice but this was near perfection! The control in her voice when she hit the chorus, her transitions, that growl, her belting and the emotion. Everything came together for her at the perfect time! A-

GRACE DAVIES
"More Than You"
While Grace has a very unique tone, if she doesn't tap into a specific part of it then it starts to become a bit boring. This was a fine performance but something felt off. B-

GEORGINA"GG" PANTON
“In the Air”
GG is like puzzle pieces that refuse to fit together. She has 99 problems and pitch is one. She has an infectious energy/stage presence, an interesting tone but every time she comes out her pitch is like a game of ping-pong. It was controlled for the most part and she’s beginning to learn how to tame herself a little better and that’s something. B

DEANNA
“Dive”
The first half was unbelievably average but the second half proved that she has a much better voice than I thought she did. It was alright but nothing remarkably special. B

My top 3
Alisha
Holly
Rai

Sharon's top 3
Gracie
Holly
Rai
