The Haves and the Have Nots: Mad Day (5x14)

Disclaimer: Spoilers for this episode of Tyler Perry and OWN's The Haves and the Have Nots after the jump! If you haven't seen it, do not click any further (until you've seen it, then definitely read)! Thank you to the Oprah Winfrey Network for the images.

The detective and Justin begin to arrest Benny's hard headed ass. Although he makes a point that they need probable cause, the detective finds a way around that and keeps the cuffs on him. Justin's bottom senses are tingling so he walks off into the direction of the sent of Jeffrey's dick musk. Mitch is adamant on getting Veronica to help Benny, but he refuses because Veronica's ass is crazy as hell. Veronica is walking by, Mitch calls over to her and she asks them what's going on. She puts up a bit of a verbal fight with the detective before he eventually leaves with Benny.

Veronica spots David, flashes Mitch the peace sign and follows him where he is going. David doesn't want to talk to her, but when he tries to find out where Melissa's room is, he quickly discovers he doesn't know what her last name is. Veronica refuses to tell him if he won't talk to her, so they reach a bit of an impasse. Veronica threatens to tell all of his dirty little secrets, David doesn't give a fuck, calls her a rabid wolf and Jim's ass comes in howling into a hospital like a wolf. Jim asks him if he's been able to track War's phone but David has enough to worry about with Veronica and Jeffrey. Also, who cares about War? Can he just disappear? Veronica tells Jim about Wyatt, but the nurse he asks tells him that she can't give him any information. That's kind of ridiculous, though, isn't it? I know Wyatt doesn't need anyone that triggers him right now, but his parent can't even get information about him? Please don't take me to this hospital.

After losing her daughter, and almost son, Katheryn is really the only one who knows what she's going through. Katheryn gives her something to help her sleep before Hanna looks down. She's been so traumatized she hasn't realized that her hands are drenched in Little Q's blood. She has another breakdown before finally washing her hands. Once again, Crystal Fox and RenĂ©e Lawless nail every beat of the scene. Oscar, or whatever his name is, is still trying to convince Candace to mess with Charles. He's being paid by some powerful people to make sure he loses and wants him and Candace work together to help make that happen. Either Candace wants to take him down for herself, or she's kind of into him now, because she refuses this and takes the money Oscar brought to bribe her with, after screaming for help when he wouldn't leave. But the true hilarious gag was that the stacks of money he brought were just blank money shaped paper with 100 dollar bills on the top and bottom of the stacks.

Jeffrey tries to talk to Melissa, but she throws him out because he's been an asshole to her the entire time she's been in his presence. I understand where she's coming from. Jeffrey may have been forced to be with her but it wasn't like Melissa loved the idea of being with a guy she knew had no interest her. She was just there playing along for her father. Now she doesn't have any reason to keep playing Veronica's game. Jeffrey dips and goes to visit Wyatt, and that's all I'm saying about that because it feels like I'm wasting my life away writing about Wyatt's horrible decisions. Speaking of wasted time, Justin. He posts up outside of Wyatt's room for about an hour, after a failed apology to Jeffrey for what went down at Wyatt's apartment. When they finally go off to talk, in a shady hospital staircase, he apologizes again and hypocrisy is pouring out of his mouth like Fuck Nigga Falls. The second he asked me about my possible "engagement," I would have asked him about his actual "marriage." It's like he doesn't hear how much sense it doesn't make for Jeffrey not to claim him and try to live out his own life, while he's over there marriage and on his (hands and) knees for Jeffrey. I guess the dick was actually that atomically bomb. Oh, and Veronica's been listening to whole time, specifically the part where Justin said he was married.
