X Factor: Top 5 Rankings

Once again, big thanks to Anthony Ying! Check out his YouTube videos, he's the only reason I'm able to watch the show before it airs in the states up here!

Looks like we have a new underdog! Lauren Murray came out of nowhere and stole the night from everyone. There were some decent performances, but aside from Lauren and 4th Impact, it was a very underwhelming night.
ROUND 1 - JUKEBOX/PUBLIC'S CHOICE:
05. CHE CHESTERMAN (BOYS)
"Hello"
His voice was beautiful but he forgot half the lyrics to the song and by the time he did remember the lyrics, he was flat for the rest of the performance. (4.5/10)

04. REGGIE N BOLLIE (GROUPS)
"Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)'"
Pretty good, it just ran together with everything else they do. They would have probably been knocked down a point if Cheryl hadn't joined them in the dance, which was fun to see.  (7/10)

03. LAUREN MURRAY (GIRLS)
"Firestone"
She looked beautiful, the staging was beautiful and she sounded beautiful. The song just didn't go anywhere. It stayed at pretty good the entire performance and never went anywhere. (7.5/10)

02. LOUISA JOHNSON (GIRLS)
"Love Yourself"
She made a great performance even though she was ill and I loved the key change near the end. She messed up at the end but she was sick, so she's excused because she's Louisa and everything else sounded great. (7.5/10)

01. 4th IMPACT (GROUPS)
"I'll Be There"
Brilliant vocals, wonderful connection with the song and each other. And I'm going to keep saying it, that whistle note had me in chills and the harmonies were on point! (8.5/10)

ROUND 2 - JUDGE'S CHOICE

05. REGGIE N BOLLIE (GROUPS)

"Dynamite"
The staging was great and I loved the song choice but this is all just starting to get a little repetitive. Aside from Cheryl, there was nothing different about this performance and the first one. (6/10)

04. CHE CHESTERMAN (BOYS)
"Try A Little Tenderness"
Much better than earlier in the night, but still lackluster than what we're used to from Che. He was once again flat for most of the song but he had a few moments..  (7/10)

03. 4th IMPACT (GROUPS)
"Fancy/Rich Girl"

The brought back their fun, sassy side. The rapping was great, the transition from Fancy to Rich Girl was expert and to top it all off "Simon, remember my name!" Try and call Almira "B", again, Simon. (7.5/10)

02. LOUISA JOHNSON (GIRLS)
"Jealous"

Genuinely emotional, her voice sounded much better than from the first performance. (8.5/10)

01. LAUREN MURRAY (GIRLS)
"You Don't Own Me"
She stole the entire night. By far her best performance and it showed off a different side to her. She looked like she was having a good time and she brought the sass on full force. Showed her versatility and cemented her place in the competition. (9/10)

OVERALL NIGHT
05. Che Chesterman (6/10) (Last week's position: #3/-2)
04. Reggie N Bollie (6.5/10) (Last week's position: #5/+1)
03. Louisa Johnson (8/10) (Last week's position: #1/-3)
02. 4th Impact (8/10) (Last week's position: #2/0)
01. Lauren Murray (8.5/10)  (Last week's position: #4/+1)

BOTTOM 2 PREDICTIONS:

Reggie N Bollie & Che Chesterman (D:)
