X Factor UK 13: Judges Houses (GIRLS)

Well that exceeded my expectations. Breakdown of Simon's judges house after the jump!

Simon. What? Why? How? Caitlyn was one of the best contestants, not just in her category, but this entire season! Hopefully she comes back next year with Ivy Grace and they kill it next year. I didn't expect this category to be so strong, but they really surprised me with some stellar performances!

SOHELIA CLIFFORD

She overestimates what she can do. She doesn't have a bad singing voice but she does a little much when she performs and it was just...so much.

OLIVIA GARCIA

I thought this was miles better than her Six Chair Performance, but I just don't think she has a particularly strong voice. The song really worked for her in a way, this category was just surprisingly strong.

KAYLEIGH MARIE MORGAN

Kayleigh has the prettiest, softest voice. The way she implemented her beautiful soft vocals into the song and still made it work was lovely!

CAITLYN VANBECK

Who cares if she messed up half way through? Her tone is so beautiful, she's consistantly delivered strong performances and those last few notes were absolute heaven! On the down side, after she forgot the lyrics, she absolutely fell apart. It took Simon gesturing to her for her to even try and come back from it. Such a shame, she sounded divine!

EMILY MIDDLEMAS

Unique voice, very interesting tone. She also looks like she's having a good time up there!

GIFTY

The things that I love about Gifty is her grove. She doesn't just sing, she doesn't just perform. She feels the music when she's up there and it's a bit infectious, no? Her voice may not be absolutely killer but she has something special about her.

SAMANTHA LAVERY

At first I thought it was a little dramatic of Simon to tell her to take all of her makeup off but there was something different about her when she came out. She seemed more sure of herself. Samantha was probably the biggest shock of the episode. I knew she had a good voice but after she botched the Six Chair Challenge with her song choice I completely wrote her off. She came back full force with a haunting, gorgeous version of "Make it Rain".
