KEVIN DAVY WHITE

“Puzzle of Love”

I certainly did not expect that voice to come out of him. I loved his gritty tone and some of the interesting riffs he decided on. That note at the end was flatter than a pancake but there’s still something in his delivery that works for me. He put soul into his performance and I love that. B+

BERGET LEWIS

“Clarity”

Although there were some pitch issues, the power behind her voice is undeniable and effortless. I was screaming at her to keep going (cue Kevin’s “never give up!") when she blanked on the lyrics and when she did the results were pretty decent. Was it enough, though? B-

SLAVKO

“On the Floor”

He’s definitely fun but...was he lip syncing? It sounded like a pre-recorded track and not in the good way. C-

MATT LINNEN

“Everybody’s Free”

Matt’s left hand should have it’s own reality show, it was doing a lot. Haha. At the very beginning he sounded to be right under the note, but when he got his groove in the performance he got his GROOVE. The tone of his voice and the musicality he displayed was beautiful. B+

TALIA DEAN

“Do You Really Want To Hurt Me”

Talia surprised me with this performance. Her pitch is usually all over the place. Was this perfect? No. But it was a step in the right direction and just the type of peak performance she needs at this stage of the competition. B+

TRACEYLEANNE JEFFORD

“You'll Lose a Good Thing”

Here’s my thing with Traceyleanne. She has such a unique and rich tone to her voice but her pitch just refuses to pick a location to settle into. It’s rough because you can hear some of the dynamics she’s attempting and it’s all very messy at this point. She has the confidence and the stage presence, her voice just needs a little bit of work but that unique tone will get her places. B
